Woodfuel

As we move towards a low carbon economy, Woodfuel or Biomass has emerged as a major market for low grade wood products, such as woodchip.

The Government has launched the Renewable Heat Initiative (RHI) which includes woodchip boilers.

A Woodfuel Grant is now available from FC to fund management and access works for woodfuel.
